Cappa Martial Arts

History

Cappa Martial Arts was established in 1980 by founder Armando Cappa, who holds the rank of 7th Dan (7th degree black belt) in Kyokushin Karate and the title of Kyoshi. He began his martial arts training in 1968 and continues teaching because he enjoys watching his students develop their skills and gain confidence. Kyoshi Cappa is also experienced in Judo, Thai chi, Kung Fu, and has extensive knowledge of anatomy (circulatory system and cardio vascular system) and holds a N.A. degree in acupuncture which he received in Mainland China.

Specialties

Kyokushin Karate, Ju-jitsu and self-defense begins with awareness of your surroundings and ends with the knowledge and ability to choose and implicate the appropriate response to defend yourself. Our Mixed martial arts, Karate, Jujitsu, and Self-defense programs consists of extremely effective striking, fluent grappling and controlled take-downs which set us apart from other MMA and BJJ dojos. These techniques applied to self-defense along with awareness training and sound judgment will give you the knowledge and skill to avoid or settle a variety of confrontational or dangerous situations.
