About us: A splendid wine bar in the Capitola Village, where the wine and the waves meet in a relaxed atmosphere of fun, good wine, beer and food. Capitola Wine Bar is Capitola’s first wine bar. Founded in 2006 under the name Cava Wine Bar. It has become the locals and visitors go to spot to enjoy a glass of wine or beer and relax in a warm friendly environment. As some businesses do, things changed at the bar and then Doug & Ann Marie stepped in to take over the helm in July 2017. They rebranded as Capitola Wine Bar & Merchants in May of 2018.

Love the Capitola Wine Bar! Such a great place at a great spot. We always get the charcuterie board and a wine flight. I tried the spicy 3 cheese mac and cheese today and very glad I did!
