With about 7,000 square feet of soaring ceilings and a lofty feel, our dramatic studios offer a hip but cozy vibe that's unassuming from the outside and awe-inspiring on the inside. Located in the heart of San Francisco's lively Mission District, this unique production facility is comprised of two massive studios joined by a giant 8' pass-through door. Designed as a bespoke photo studio, Capitol Art's dramatic urban-industrial vibe offers a blank canvas on which to realize your creative visions. Exposed beam ceilings that peak at 35', a unique but flexible design aesthetic, and massive white walls all contribute to its powerful impression. With spaces unlike any other and a convenient San Francisco location, the studios lend themselves well to all kinds of productions from car photography to tv shows - and everything in between.

Capitol Art is the most uniquely hip rental photo studio around, and with a 2018 expansion nearly doubling its footprint, it now offers up to 7,000 square feet of space to fit almost any production. Just blocks from public transport and steps to local coffee and groceries, San Francisco's Mission District has plenty to keep you entertained & happy. Working in either studio offers direct load-in from the street, massive skylights (blackout available), and plenty of thoughtful amenities to keep things cozy. A self-contained and private atmosphere means you can stay productive, while the style and design keep the creativity flowing. The West studio features a 40' cyc wall, private conference room and separate HMU area, while the new East studio boasts a flexible open floor plan at a great value. Available separately or conjoined, Capitol Art sets a new standard with atmosphere and production flexibility.
