Capitol Area Development Auth

Located in Sacramento, Calif., Capitol Area Development Authority has been operational for more than 30 years. A full-service urban housing authority, CADA facilitates the construction of mixed-use and mixed-income residential development services. The firm also manages apartments, neighborhood commercial properties and limited surface parking areas. A joint powers authority between the state of the California and the city of Sacramento, it implements various housing plans and objectives. CADA develops urban infill housing projects and builds more than 5,000 units through public and private partnerships. The firm also provides rental housing projects and assistance and government housing programs for low-income families. Additionally, it offers houses for senior citizens, students, working professionals and singles.
