Academy of Art University prepares aspiring professionals in the fields of design, communication and the arts by delivering excellent undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate and portfolio development programs.
Specialties
Operated by the Academy of Art University, the Cannery Galleries offer a diverse range of art appreciation spaces, ranging from small and intimate to expansive and inviting. Our 3 galleries are located within the courtyard of the historic Del Monte Cannery complex serving both visitors and local residents in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. The Cannery Galleries offer easy access to the latest works by Academy students and alumni. New exhibitions are installed monthly, and opening night artist receptions are scheduled to coincide with First Thursday Art Walk.

The staff at all of the Academy of Art University buildings are amazing. Very passionate and professional people work here. They love their jobs here too. It shows by their outward friendliness...

We're on a mission to purchase some art that won't break the bank (a hard feat in this town!). We thought a university might be a good place to check out, but the art was still in the thousands...
