Camino Import Auto Service

History

Camino Import Auto Service was originally opened in 1979 by Pete Perdaems and Joop Van Breuklen. Bob Dallape bought Joop's half in 1993 upon Joop's retirement. Until then, Bob had been working at Jim Slemons Imports (later Fletcher Jones Motorcars) in Newport Beach. Bob is a Mercedes and ASE Master Tech. Dan Ashcraft bought Pete's half of the Business in 2007 when Pete retired. Dan and Bob were friends since working together at Fletcher Jones. Dan is a Mercedes Master Tech. Both Dan and Bob also have extensive experience in the repair and service of Volvo and BMW automobiles. The original location was on Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano until moving to a larger shop on Avenida Aeropuerto in October 2007. Bob bought Dan's half of the business in December of 2011 and is now the sole proprietor.

We have specialized in the repair and service of Mercedes, BMW and Volvo automobiles since 1979. We are factory trained master technicians using factory diagnostic equipment. We have a clean facility with a comfortable waiting area. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
