History

Camino's founders & longtime friends Allen & Nathan have always loved good beer, good food & the spirit of adventure. They embarked on a 1,900-mile adventure on the Camino de Santiago trail - where they cycled over the Italian Alps through rain and blistering heat. They took wrong turns and did endless tire repairs, but they always found their destination one way or another. There was great camaraderie on the Camino, meeting people from all walks of life. They drank, ate, and shared many stories with strangers who became friends. They didn't want their journey to end on the trail & knew they could overcome any obstacle & their dream of opening a brewery came true in 2017. Beer brings strangers together. Camino Brewing specializes in delicious craft beers inspired by Allen & Nathan's pilgrimage along the historic Camino de Santiago trail. The taproom and beer garden is located in downtown San Jose.
