The Cameron Family YMCA offers a variety of programs for youths, teenagers and adults. Located in Santee, Calif., it is a nonprofit organization that is a part of the East County Family YMCA. The organization offers private and group swimming lessons, as well as lifeguard and community safety courses. The Cameron Family YMCA s gymnastics program serves children between the ages of 1 and 18. It features a gymnastics center that helps to develop skills on the balance beam, uneven bars, vault and tumbling trampoline. The organization sponsors lectures, workshops and fitness classes for older adults. The Cameron Family YMCA s fitness center offers cardiovascular, strength training and mind-body classes.
