California Psychiatric Transitions

Based in Delhi, Calif., California Psychiatric Transitions is a mental health rehabilitation center and has been providing mental disorder treatment for more than 70 years. It is licensed by the California Department of Mental Health and provides a fully equipped mental health rehabilitation center. The center provides treatment for various ambulatory consumers and patients with mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, concurrent personality disorders and developmental disabilities. The center encourages creativity and self-expressions through a variety of activities that include arts, crafts, letter writing, aerobics, dancing, music and movement, board games, basketball, bowling, volleyball and music therapies to cope with acute mental illnesses. Its re-entry program assists resident s transitions into community-based independent living programs. California Psychiatric Transitions delivers its treatments, therapies and programs through a multidisciplinary team that include psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, art and expressive therapists, vocational rehabilitation counselors and dieticians.
