California Montessori Project

Established in 2001, California Montessori Project offers Montessori-based educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, history, health, physical education, music, computer technology, language arts and foreign languages. The school provides accelerated reader and gifted and talented education programs. It additionally offers before- and after-school programs to assist students with homework and supervised activities. The school also offers lunch and breakfast programs for its students. It conducts various parent-teacher conferences that serve as a resource for students, parents and staff. The school is accredited by the Montessori Schools Accrediting Commission and Western Association of Schools and Colleges. California Montessori Project maintains one of its locations in Shingle Springs, Calif.
