The Caledonian Club of San Francisco, established in 1866, is California's oldest host of Scottish Games, dedicated to preserving the rich customs, costumes, and games of Scotland while promoting Scottish literature, music, and arts. The club proudly sponsors the Prince Charles Pipe Band, which boasts the West Coast's longest-running active youth piping and drumming instructional program since its founding in 1967.

Additionally, the club supports the American Friends of Erskine, a charity established in 2003 to aid Scotland's Erskine Hospital for Scottish Veterans, by organizing fundraisers during the annual Scottish Games and various events across the Bay Area. The club also collaborates with several kindred Scottish societies, fostering a vibrant community committed to celebrating Scottish heritage.
