This Palladian Villa, the residence of Carlo Marchiori, is a glimpse into the private world of a Venetian artist. A large Salone and six other rooms are completely decorated in trompe l'oeil frescoes. The gardens and grounds offer surprises of pools, statues, fountains, Roman ruins and 18th century follies. One tour only, Saturdays at 11 a.m. from May through October.

What a memorable tour. The artist handled the tour himself, and he is warm, charismatic and funny. The art is amazing - from sculpture to painting to decorative arts, it's all here and gorgeous....

Beautiful, just so stunning! The location is amazing and offers a great view. The yard is open and they even I was at here was great! The floor/law needed a LOT of work, it was so hard walking...
