C D Access

CD Access is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic access to patients in need of drugs and therapies that are not readily available through traditional clinical trials or prescriptions. Their inaugural program facilitates access for Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients in Canada to redose with the drug drisapersen, previously used in clinical trials.

With a supply of drisapersen transferred from BioMarin, CD Access enables former trial participants to receive treatments at select children's hospitals in Canada. Patients must confirm their eligibility through their physician to participate in this Special Access Programme.
