The new owners of Bucks Lake Lodge are remodeling it and bringing it back to a new life, after the preivous owners destroyed the place. Thank God they left....

Bucks Lake Lodge, located in Quincy, Calif., provides boarding and lodging facilities to travelers and family vacationers. The lodge offers rustic cabins with attached kitchen offering refrigerators and propane ovens with basic utensils. Bucks Lake, with a 17-mile shoreline, offers water-ski, fishing, swim and jet ski, and the marina rents different types of boats and jet skis. The Bucks Lake Lodge also offers the Timberline Inn with queen-size beds and a bathtub and shower. It does not offer televisions and telephones in the rooms. The inn also offers a conference room for private meetings.

Review for cabin rental. I usually scope out hotels and such on review sites pretty thoroughly, and thought I was pretty savvy, but missed this one bad. You can stop now and just look for another...

We loved this place! The owners were great and the food was exceptional. Get the chicken soup and fish tacos. The owners not only made us an exceptional mea, they also took the time to orient us...

Go to Haskins Bed & Breakfast across the street, it is wonderful and has no relation to this place. The owners at Bucks Lake Lodge have no interest in their customers or business. It's very sad...

Just don't do it! There are MUCH better options out there... including tent camping. The cabins are pathetic. We stayed in Silver tip and it had only 2 windows with screens and they were falling...
