The focus of our practice is family estate planning, including wills, living trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, guardianships for minor children, special needs trusts, and specialized planning for non-U.S. citizens. Following a loved one's passing, we assist family members in the decedent's estate administration, including subtrust funding, probate administration in the event no advance planning was completed prior to death, and creditor claims management. The other side of our practice is representing corporate and other business clients in ongoing and proposed business activities, including entity formation and governance, buy-sell arrangements, financing, contracts, and dissolution proceedings. Where business and estate planning needs intersect, we work with clients to develop appropriate plans that address concerns such as ownership/management succession and asset protection.
