He was originally a general contracting company, Mark Construction, and has been in business since 1990. A switch to solar power was started in 2003 with Solar Company. It was established as "Mark Construction DBA The Solar Company in 2004. Mark and his wife, Christina, were both born and raised in California and want to help preserve this beautiful land. Their children are also very involved in promoting solar power and can often be found assisting their parents at home shows. Solar Company also prides itself in staying up-to-date and educated in the newest and best installation practices. The install crew has been professionally trained and has worked alongside Mark since 1998. All installers have received training through SunPower University and one of them is also a licensed general contractor. We value our employees and reward them for their dedicated work.
