History
My passion for food began at a young age. Eating was a hobby early on and by the age of 12 I found myself watching cooking shows on Food Network instead of the usual Gilmore Girls. I began cooking for friends and family through high school and college and considered cooking just to be a hobby. As I approached my senior year of college and began looking for jobs, I knew I needed to be surrounded by food. I began working for the Hillstone Restaurant Group as a Restaurant Manager, which satisfied my craving to work with food. After 3 years I began to feel a calling for change. This led me to the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, CA. I attended a 7 month intensive program and simultaneously fell in love with wine and the wine country.
