Brian Ball, M.D. | Hematologist-Oncologist

Listed numerous times as one of America's "Top Doctors" by Castle Connolly, Joanne Mortimer, M.D., is the Baum Family Professor in Women's Cancers. She takes a special interest in examining how hormones affect normal and tumor cells.

Sean Maroongroge, M.D., M.B.A., is a board-certified radiation oncologist and assistant clinical professor at City of Hope's Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte and our Glendale campus, where he is involved in many stages of patient care, from tumor detection through treatment and survivorship. He is an expert in treating head and neck, skin, prostate, and breast cancer, among others, and works closely with his patients to find the best solution for their individual needs. Dr. Maroongroge also has a special interest in the use of ultra-low dose radiation for non-cancer indications like osteoarthritis.

Idoroenyi Amanam, M.D. is a hematologist oncologist for City of Hope in Duarte and is an associate professor in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation. Dr. Amanam is a triple-boarded physician with advanced fellowship training utilizing cellular and stem cell therapy to treat cancers. His expertise is in leukemia, stem cell transplants and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Dr. Amanam firmly believes in serving his patients and enjoys the time spent educating them and their families regarding specifics of their disease. He is multilingual (English, Ibibio, Efik) and was awarded a U.S. Congressional Award in service.
