Brentwood City Park

The City of Brentwood was incorporated in 1948 as a General Law City and operates from Brentwood, Calif. The city government consists of an elected two-year term mayor and several city council members who serve four-year overlapping terms with municipal elections held every two years. It appoints interested citizens to various commissions, as well as standing and ad hoc committees, to advise the council in the administration of city matters. The City of Brentwood s the economic development department administers redevelopment activities. The city operates its own police department and provides direct water, sewer, and garbage service to the residents of the community. It receives fire protection services from the East Diablo Fire Protection District and operates a park and recreation department.
