Brandon A Guenthart, MD - Stanford Thoracic Cancer Program in Palo Alto

Dr. Guenthart is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiothoracic surgeon. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He specializes in providing leading-edge surgical treatment for people with cancer and end-stage heart and lung disease. He performs the full range of surgical procedures ranging from minimally invasive thoracic surgery to heart and lung transplantation. Dr. Guenthart practices all aspects of thoracic surgery, including procedures for benign and malignant conditions of the airway, lung, mediastinum, esophagus, and foregut.

Dr. Diep is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hematologist with Stanford’s Hematology Program and Hematologic Cancer Program. He is also a clinical assistant professor with the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology. He diagnoses and treats patients with a wide range of nonmalignant hematology conditions. His special interests include clotting disorders, bleeding disorders, hemoglobinopathies, and disorders affecting blood count. Subspecialty interests include anticoagulation and thrombosis.

Dr. Wen-Kai Weng specializes in the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), his basic research interest is immunotherapy for lymphoma and cancer, with two components: tumor specific targeting therapy and allogeneic transplant. He is currently working on new strategies to target patient-specific tumor using antibody along with effector cells. He is also conducting clinical study looking at the clinical efficacy of allogeneic transplant in patients with cutaneous lymphoma.
