Formed in 1997 through the merger of Monier and Boral Lifetile, MonierLifetile is one of the leading roofing materials and concrete tile roof systems in the United States. Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., it maintains more than 15 manufacturing facilities and service offices throughout the U.S. MonierLifetile conducts material science studies, as well as provides product design and computer-controlled wind tunnel testing services. It offers resistance testing for fire, hail and seismic activities for its various products. The company is a member of the Roof Tile Institute and the Building Industry association of Southern Carolina. Additionally, it operates waste water treatment and recycling plants. MonierLifetile maintains a location in Rialto, Calif.
