When the swell is right this is excellent body surfing. Need to be careful though. Gets shallow with submerged rock floor on the east side. Study the path before going in.

Great beach watching from bench near the Bridge Club. Only body surfing is allowed NO boards! This beach is the one just below Ellen Browning Scripps Park.
