Dixon Marine Services, Inc ( DMS ) has accomplished a wide variety of projects on the water. We provide private and public sector clients with marine/environmental science consulting services including sediment characterization, water quality monitoring, physical oceanography, construction management, and dredge material management.Since our founding in 1998, the business has grown around projects involving wetland and stream restoration, water quality monitoring, and sediment sampling/management. We have performed many proof-of-concept demonstrations and brought several pilot studies to full scale applications for mitigation and restoration projects, complying with EPA, NEPA and CEQA standards.With extensive knowledge and experience with design, construction and operation of automated systems, we can monitor a wide spectrum of environmental parameters for water quality and marine sediments. Additionally, DMS has a wide range of work platforms to support our field operations, allowing us to work in any marine environment, from tidal mud flat to the open ocean.DMS encompasses a skilled staff with backgrounds in marine biology, ichthyology, hydrogeology, engineering, and environmental science.
