History
Bonita Shoe Repair was started by Philip Serrano, and originally located in the Vons Shopping center on Bonita Rd. Philip came from a family of cobblers and his shoe repair shop supported his family of 5, that included his wife, and 3 children for many years. He became well known in the community and would eventually sell the shop to one of his sisters, when he wanted to retire.
