Body Suite Day Spa

History

The current owner acquired the Body Suite in May 2001 when the previous owners moved away from the Monterey Peninsula. The spa continued to build a following of happy clients and relocated after 4 years to a beautiful architecturally-designed purpose-built facility overlooking Monterey Bay and Cannery Row. After ten years Nell, the owner, decided to downsize the treatment space and reinvent the spa to enable her team to focus on the therapeutic benefits they each specialize in, with a goal of (with permission) incorporating the restorative qualities of energetic and vibrational healing into their practice in addition to their exceptional bodywork and skincare skills. Nell and the staff are delighted to welcome customers new and established to our super-convenient current space on the border of Monterey and Seaside. We're looking forward to working with you and, upon your request, introducing energy healing techniques to your bodywork experience.

Specialties

Massage techniques from gentle and soothing to melt the stress away, work out the knots and promote relaxation with a therapeutic session, to sports/athletic, clinical or deep tissue massage to tackle serious soft tissue-issues. Natural and organic skin care with extra neck, shoulder, face and scalp massage to relax the wrinkles and promote a healthy complexion at any age. Modalities that reconnect the body's circuits through chakra, meridian, vibration and energy balancing and reminds the body to activate its self-healing abilities.
