HistoryDr. Annis has more than 30 years experience working with people and helping them to change habits, as a family practice and ER physician and as a psychotherapist. The son of two psychiatrists, he began a career of helping people with their problems quite naturally, and is now focusing his attention on one of our country's critical health problems -- weight. During his career, Dr. Annis has worked with people with addictions to smoking, alcohol, heroin, cocaine and other drugs, He strongly feels that many people's weight problems are very similar to other addictions, and can be helped in some of the same ways. He has successfully helped people with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and many other weight related problems to make new lives for themselves.
