History

Boatlife was officially started in April of 2014 in Marina Del Rey, CA, but even before the business was born, BOATLIFE was very much alive and well. Between the daily barbecues, afternoon sails and island adventures, stress was gone and life was good. After finishing college at Loyola Marymount University and unsatisfied with this work life, Captain Ash began to offer his home, a 27' Sailboat to the public for sunset sails while also offering boating lessons and boat repair to those in the marina. As momentum grew, more services were offered and the charters became more popular. Boatlife was becoming much more than just a couple friends hanging out at the docks, it turned into a lifestyle. Within months, a business was born from the community; friends jumped onboard to become chefs, websites were built, and advertising was done. Months later, Captain Ash had a business running, that was purely born out of his passion, being out on the water.

We provide emergency services as well as preventative maintenance to take care your boat from bow to stern. We also offer boat rentals.
