Broadcast Music is an American performing rights organization that represents more than 300,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in various genres of music. The nonprofit organization, founded in 1939, collects license fees on behalf of those American creators it represents, as well as creators from around the world. The license fees BMI collects for the public performances, including radio airplay, broadcast and cable television carriage, Internet and live and recorded performances, are distributed as royalties to the writers, composers and copyright holders it represents. BMI's roster of affiliated songwriters and composers includes pop songwriters, film and television composers, classical composers, commercial jingle writers, library music, musical theater composers, and jazz, hip-hop, rock, and reggae singers. BMI is a music licensing organization and collects license fees on behalf of writers and publishers from businesses, which use their music, making the licensing process easier. Broadcast Music is located in West Hollywood, Calif., and also has offices in New York, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

Been with BMI for years company change drasticall. have 6 songs AirPlaying on radio for 6 moMyHabit plus haven't received not a penny been getting lots of push off emails are slow no call back
