History

Scott Wirtz, Owner of Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations has been designing, installing and maintaining custom aquariums, ponds and water features since 1989. Getting his start in the Chicago area, Scott moved to Los Angeles in 1995 to attend the University of Southern California and after graduating soon found a position with Marineland, Inc. as a Senior Aquatic Specialist. After 4 years of working with some of the premier aquarists and microbiologists in the industry, Scott started Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations in 2001 in Thousand Oaks, CA and has provided service from small desktop aquariums to large custom high-end displays, and from local residents to hit television reality shows and celebrities
