History

At Blossom Montessori, we embrace the Montessori method of educating our young learners. Our classroom is specially set up and equipped with Montessori material to help your child become an independent learner at an individually appropriate pace. Dr. Maria Montessori's unique method of education arose from the years she spent working with and observing children. This method of education is embraced world-wide for its propensity to foster independence, creativity, adaptability and responsibility in the growing child. Children are encouraged to progress and develop at a pace most comfortable to them. In addition, Montessori materials and lessons are designed to help children recognize and correct their own errors. There is a strong emphasis on the four areas of a typical Montessori classrom: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language and Math. These areas together help your child become a well-rounded individual who responds intelligently towards the environment.
