History

Blair and Sarah Fox created this label in 2001 with the passion for creating extremely small production wines, completely hands on. With their limited production cuvees, they have garnered numerous accolades and awards from wine critics and press alike. In 2008, Blair was given the prestigious Andre Tchelistcheff Winemaker of the Year Award. In 2010 their charming tasting room came to fruition. Open 3 days a week, and by appointments during the remaining days, you will often see Blair, Sarah, and the family helping out customers behind the bar. Their 1000 case production level has remained consistent throughput the years and they look forward to welcoming you into their cozy cellar when happening upon Los Olivos. Cheers!

Specialties

Blair Fox Cellars is the eponymous label of the 2008 Winemaker of the Year, Blair Fox. We specialize in small lot, hand crafted bottlings of Rhone varietal wines, with a total case of production of 500 to 600 cases annually. All of our red's are punched down by hand, basket pressed and aged in barrel between 24 to 28 month's. Once in bottle, we age our wines for another 1 or 2 years before the wines are released. Blair and Sarah Fox are in the tasting room on a regular basis. The Tasting room is in the quaint town of Los Olivos on Grand Ave, between Corner House Coffee and Global Gardens. Current hours are Friday and Saturday 12:00 to 5:00. Hope to see you soon!
