History

Artistically driven, Bischoff Custom Design strives to be the place for designers to see their dreams printed. In 1962 Bill Bischoff began a 22 year career in business marketing working with his family at his parents three liquor store in Fremont, House of Liquors. Briefly attending California of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, then moving into management in the 70s, Bill understands retail marketing. His introduction to screenprinting outside of high school was a summer spent screening signs for Process Displays whose customers included Schilling, Weibel Winery, and many others. Then in 1985 Bill began working for Sun Graphics for 2 years. Gaining the necessary confidence and guidance from Dave Farrah, his mentor & boss, Bill decided to reach out to his own client base. Over the last 29 years business has evolved from a single person operation, to having 20 employees in 1995, then finding the right balance today of family and business allowing time for Grandkids.
