The Convention Center at Big Bear Lake, built in 1976, is one of Southern California's largest mountain event facilities. The center has become the permanent home to the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest. Its facility s wings can be partitioned to allow for a number of set-up configurations. The building can accommodate up to 1,400 people indoors and up to 2,500 people when combined with the outside area. The convention center is built on more than 11,000-square-feet of space and offers banquet seating for up to 800 people and theater-style seating for up to 1,200 people. It also provides a full-service bar and kitchen, outdoor patio and reception area, wooden cottages, and more than 250 parking spaces.

The food is mediocre, there are very few outdoor activities, the ping pong table is unusable and they won't repair it. There are no board games, cards, or indoor activities for the campers....

We try to make it to Oktoberfest every year, great environment as always, Hammerstein Musik Bavaria was a great German American band. Portions of the outside area were sectioned off but enjoyed it...
