Betty & Gary Overstreet

History

Betty Overstreet began singing in the San Francisco bay area as a single act under the name of Betty Kean. She changed her name in 2001 when she and Gary Overstreet became husband and wife and Gary joined her as Sound Tech, then later began singng a few songs and also adding some humor to the act. They have traveled nationwide singing in Oklahoma, Colorado, Tennessee and Missouri as well as throughout northern California. Betty traveled to Nashville for a Recording session with producer, Verne Pratt in 1988. The first song released did very well, rising to #100 on the Cashbox charts for singles released and #26 on the Independent Lable chart. She is proud that her song was clmbing the charts along with Tanya Tucker and other well known artists of the day!
