In 1995 the vines were planted that grow our full-bodied wines. We grow Sangiovese, Syrah, Nebbiolo, and Cabernet. Having made wine in LA before moving to Santa Barbara wine country, planting a vineyard and creating an honest reflection of the terroir was a dream that is now enjoyed by many.
Handcrafted from our four acre CCOF certified organic vineyard, our Bernat wines are a true expression of their terroir. Our winery is not open to the public, but all our wines can be tasted at our restaurant, the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe. Looking for a special way to experience Santa Barbara Wine Country, stay on our vineyard at one of our Bernat Retreats.
