Benicia City Hall

Vacaville City Hall has various divisions, including city council, administration, public services and finance departments. Its city council is comprised of six members and the mayor; and has commissions and committees, such as historical society, charter commission, natural resource conservation, planning commission and senior advisory. Its administration department is presided over by the city manager and executive assistant, and it is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city government. Vacaville City Hall also has a community development department that provides commercial and industrial services, including single-family and multifamily residential developments. The department also offers marketing services for properties. Its public services department undertakes the physical and economic development of the city, and consists of building inspections, engineering, parks and recreation, planning and public works divisions. Its finance department provides accounting and internal auditing services for all financial activities of the city.
