History

It all started in Reno of all places, when I made my decision that I wanted to make a difference and create something new to provide to the aviation community, and it's local economy. I started as Lake Tahoe Aviation in S. TAHOE . But after a winter blizzard the hangar was not suitable for the company. A three yr project that had its doors closed before opening. After numerous attempts to find a Airport that would have the right atmosphere and amenities throughout the town that the company is focused on. We then had a possible airport that would embrace the company to come aboard and build the amenities for aviators and it's local economy. During the transition into Big Bear Valley district I noticed 2 flags flying in the wind while a Cessna 210 buzzed over, at that moment Bear Valley Aviation was born. In the hope that the name was not taken, we were in business. Through Bear Valley Aviations logo i can easily say I love California and it's lifestyle, our state has so much to offer.
