HistoryI originally started BangFit Boot Camp because I could not find everything I wanted out of 1 gym or 1 outdoor workout / boot camp class. In the summer of 2013, I started going out to Balboa Park alone with some of my favorite gym equipment...battle ropes, kettle bells, a tractor tire, and a plyo box. From day 1, the spectacle attracted lots of interested onlookers and questions. At the time, I did not think of it as a business, so I would just invite them to join me anytime for free. I ran this outdoor workout / bootcamp for free, for 3 years. It brought me lots of joy giving back to the community and seeing how appreciative people were. In tradition, I still always hold 1 free boot camp class a week. We have battle ropes, plyometric boxes, kettle bells, tractor tire flips, and much more. If you like all the fun equipment you find at indoor gyms and CrossFit gyms, but think the environment is a little too hardcore, then welcome to BangFit Boot Camp. We blend an outdoor workout with all the fun indoor equipment, then we subtract out the intimidating environment, and add a lot of fun! This class is suitable for all levels, even 1st timers. It is specifically designed to be as easy or as hard as you would like it to be. Our #1 goal is to make you feel welcomed and comfortable, while providing you a workout that is unique and manageable at any fitness level.
