Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra, established in 1949, is dedicated to enriching individuals through music. Led by Music Director Dr. Geoffrey Pope, the Orchestra offers free classical concerts, continuing its legacy of providing musical excellence to the community for over 75 years.
With a mission to promote musical education and appreciation, the Orchestra collaborates with the Torrance Civic Chorale and showcases talented soloists. Each concert, such as the upcoming Beethoven Symphony No. 9 performance, promises a joyous celebration of classical music.
Under the direction of Dr. Geoffrey Pope, the Orchestra's return to the stage in 2022 marked a successful post-pandemic debut.
