Established in 1987, Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is a full-service organization formed for the promotion and building of the Ridge Trail. Located in San Francisco, Calif., the organization has built over 325 miles of the Ridge Trail, which provides a complete range of recreational activities for the children and adults. The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council hosts various events, including Ridge Trial cruz, trail work parties, bike the bridges and tour de fat, among others.

This "trail" is a joke. The trail stops what seems to be every .25 miles and makes it so that it takes more time getting off and on it than makes it worth using. I've taken it on bike from Milbrae...

This is a tricky trail that isn't clearly marked. It's part of a National Park so that may explain the lack of signs and bathrooms. Today was my first day there and I can't wait to go back!...

We hiked from the Presidio Cafe at the golf course to the Golden Gate Bridge. Past the spire, the cemetary, stables and crissy field. Very nice urban hike, very picturesque.

Only went on a short portion, but I agree with Scott W. It is too broken up by roads, etc.
