History

BAE was founded in 2007, after 6 years of research and development. The mission was to provide better ways of training people for the outdoors than the methods offered before, and to provide the best available outdoors equipment and vehicles sourced globally to provide an unparalleled level of outfitting. Since its original mission, Bay Area Expeditions has evolved to providing photography workshops, commercial services and consultation to production teams, and corporate events, team building experiences, and retreats.

Specialties

Bay Area Expeditions has offered guide and outfitter services based out of San Francisco servicing California and Nevada. We offer camping and backpacking experiences in Big Sur, wilderness training in the bay area, remote off-road 4x4 safari experiences in the Black Rock desert, photography workshops, corporate team building events and corporate retreats. We can outfit groups of 20 with high end camp, backpacking, and remote off-road transportation equipment and services.
