Roving reporters, enterprising entrepreneurs and carefree travelers can all find a home here for long or short while. The rich history of the Basque Hotel resides within the walls of this century-old building. For upwards of 50 years, the hotel operated as a boarding house for Basque shepherds. The boarders were invited to join in daily, family-style lunches and dinners alongside the local patrons.
