Barrett Ranch Elementary School

Founded in 2006, Barrett Ranch Elementary School provides a variety of educational programs to more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, English, science, computer technology, social studies, physical education, music and language arts. The school provides English Language Learners, special education, and gifted and talented education programs. It offers breakfast and lunch menu that includes fruit juices, milk, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pizzas and sandwiches. The school provides a range of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, softball and handball. It operates a parent-teacher association that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff. The school s facilities include a multipurpose room, cafeteria, library, staff lounge and computer laboratory. It is a part of the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District, which serves over 8,500 students in kindergarten through grade eight through its school.
