Baotran N. Vo, MD

Dr. Yu-Po Lee is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgery with a focus on adult degenerative conditions. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery to treat diseases such as disc herniation, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, tumors and trauma. Lee is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society. He has authored over 100 chapters and articles on minimally invasive spine surgery. He is nationally recognized for his excellence in spinal surgery and patient care, and has been recognized by America’s Top Orthopedic Surgeons and is the recipient of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors™ award and the Patients’ Choice Award. Lee earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed an orthopaedic residency at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, followed by a spine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Ronald J. Rivera is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in emergency medical care. He earned his medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, followed by a residency in emergency medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He also completed fellowship training in multimedia design and educational technology at the UCI School of Medicine. His academic focus is on the social determinants of health, community outreach, harm reduction strategies, gender-affirming care and healthcare equity. He is currently developing one of the first teaching programs for medical students on care for LGBTQ+ patients as well as empathy training when working with at-risk patient populations.
