Why would a banking institution charge $9 to cash THEIR CHECK? Tacky and not acceptable. I would NEVER bank with Bank of the West. They could not "give" me an account.

This is one of the craziest banks I've ever been to. They tried to charge me to cash a check drawn out of their bank. Pass did not even offer me an account.
