Home of the San Diego Chargers from 1961 - 1964. The venue also hosted many major rock concerts (Doors and Jimi Hendrix Experince to name a few) during the 1960's.
Sadly, the upper decks and paristal had to be removed due to the cost earthquake retrofitting.

I saw the reviews and wanted to try the track out. It was locked saturday morning!! can someone drop me down with some more info?? when is this place open? Review TBD.

This track is NOT open to the public. The only way you're getting on is if your club has paid to rent the track. It's a really nice all-weather surface. It's a shame they won't let locals use it.
