Bakersfiled Christian High School is a selective coeducational college-preparatory day school, located in Bakersfield, Calif. A nondenominational school, BCHS was founded in 1979. BCHS is located on a 50-acre campus. Bakersfield Adventist Academy

Established in 1894, Bakersfield Adventist Academy is a kindergarten through grade 12th Seventh-day Adventist educational institution located in Bakersfield, Calif. The academy s curriculum includes art, English and literature, foreign languages, computer science, mathematics, music, physical education, religion, science and social studies. It also offers cocurricular activities including summer programs and athletics. Grades nine to 12 at the academy are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and are recognized by the University of California as an approved college preparatory secondary school. The Board of Regents of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists accredits Bakersfield Adventist Academy.
