This a nice, less crowded hike in the area. Although signs says beware of the Sun we found plenty of shady areas in the early part if the trail- plus a lovely,small stream. Also, the variety of...

For my hike I took Bailey Canyon up to Jones Peak and I have to say this is a wonderful trail, it's goes along to outer part of the mountain so as you're hiking up you get nice views of the city...

Reminder of the day: hikers hiking UP to the peak, have the right of way on the trail (meaning if you're descending, you need to stop on the side of the trail and make space, if you didn't know)....

What a fun hike! With steady inclines the whole way up, constant switchbacks, and steep steps to the very top, Bailey Canyon to Jones peak can be challenging. It is definitely a workout but doable...
