HistoryThis mother/daughter team began preparing traditional Cajun/Creole cuisine for family, friends and private events in early 2007. Bayou Kitchen Catering was formally structured after the team successfully catered several large scale corporate/private events in San Francisco that resulted in a high demand for their menu selections and a rapidly expanding event waiting list. Although not formally trained the teams culinary skills were honed at an early age as Kolette was taught the art of traditional Creole/Cajun food preparation by her maternal grandmothers at a very early age. She has passed these culinary traditions down to her daughter who is the Director of Event Services for Bayou Kitchen Catering and assists with food preparation, venue selection and marketing. Bayou Kitchen Menu items are reminescent of Old New Orleans and Low Country Creole Fair.
