The Azusa Police Department provides law enforcement and emergency response services to the City of Azusa in Azusa, Calif. Established in 1889, the Azusa Police Department has organized the city into three service areas, with one lieutenant assigned to each area. Service area policing is designed to provide increased police accountability, reduced crime, increased access to the city government and improved neighborhood quality of life. The department is also active in community policing programs, such as neighborhood watch groups, which empowers the community to fight crime more efficiently. Azusa is located in Los Angeles County in Southern California and has a population of more than 44,000 residents.

Irwindale City Police Department

The Irwindale Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that responds to several emergency response calls and conducts 24-hour street patrols to ensure public safety and security. It has canine patrol, communications and police explorer divisions. The department s detective division conducts investigations related to juvenile and sex crime, robbery and homicide cases. It has a bike unit that provides patrol services in confined areas, such as parks, residential facilities and speedways. The Irwindale Police Department offers the DARE program, which promotes the development of self-esteem and responsibility in kindergarten through grade five students. Inglewood Police Department

The Inglewood Police Department employs more than 200 sworn personnel and nearly 130 civilian support staff members. The department consists of multiple resources, such as specially trained canines, enforcement units, forensics, investigators, a bike team, public relations, fiscal services, recruitment, vice and narcotics. It investigates crimes against persons, homicide, robbery, assaults, forgery, automobile theft, real estate fraud and economic crimes. The Inglewood Police Department has a gang intelligence unit, motor section, traffic enforcement group and community affairs section. The department has operated since 1908. It is based in Inglewood, Calif.
